Misconception of Capacity

Volume of liquid can be measured by using several method, liquid volume is measured in litres and millilitres, and so on, whereas solid volume would have to be measured in units such as cubic metres and cubic centimetres. In the metric system the units for liquid and solid volume are related in a very simple way : 1millilitre is the same volume as 1 cubic centimetre, or 1 litre is the same volume as 1000 cubic centimetres.
